I would personally like to thank all that helped out on my neighbors son's passing.  It was an extremely short notice and that just goes to show what we can and will do for our hero's here in East Tennessee.  Especially would like to thank all that stood in the rain and wind today for the internment.  That takes a lot of love and dedication.  We gained a new rider today, a lady named Suzie that rides a GW1800, you know, one of those that don't make as much noise.
Thanks Again

I would like to thank all that assisted in the ceremony at the Clinton Post Office yesterday.  It was really appreciated by all and we made some good contacts for outgoing and incoming Vets.  The ceremony was to dedicate a new stamp in honor of Bob Hope and the USO and all the work they did for the Veterans.  We had several speakers and the usual stuff.  Once again, thank you.

Prayers needed

posted May 4, 2009, 6:51 AM by Duane Romine

Please those reading give alot of prayer for Bernie and family
As most of you have probably heard I ended up in the hospital Wednesday and mom followed close behind.  We were down the hall from each other.  I'm fine but she is in a bad way...she re-fractured her spine - a worse fracture this time & fractured her left wrist.  She is on a lot of pain meds and we are needing to make some decisions concerning her care.  Like we didn't just do that!!!  Sharon (my sister from PA) will be here this afternoon.  Uncle Robert (mom's brother) and Aunt Ella were here yesterday.
Please keep the family in your prayers as we are fighting an uphill battle for mom.  We want to make the best possible decisions.  This falling thing has to stop!!
Thanks for your prayers, calls, visits and concerns.  We appreciate them more than you will ever know.

Sendoff 3/31/09

First off I would like to apologize to all those that attended the "send off" for the 1/230 Air Cav. on Tuesday at the Air Base.  I have been busy as ever and haven't taken the time to sit down and thank those that attended and extended a hand to those that might in the future.  I would like to thank all the ETPR, Rolling Thunder, PGR and all those that I may have forgotten.  Normally we have a meeting just before we leave but I did not as everyone kind of straggled in.  With that being in mind I tried to catch each and let them know what we were going to do.  It was a surprise to have that big of a turn out as it was during the week and so many are working.
Thanks Again
